Rent a bike

Find the perfect bike for your stay in Copenhagen

Cycling is the best way to get around Copenhagen. With more than 300 km of cycling lanes, there is almost no spot that you cannot reach on two wheels. We have more than 150 bikes available for rent, and we are sure to offer you the best bike for your adventures in the Danish capital.

Choose among:

  • Adult bikes: 48 cm / 51 cm / 56 cm
  • Children bikes: 20’’ / 24’’
  • E-bikes
  • Cargo bikes
  • E-cargo bikes
  • Tandem

Choosing the Right Size
Please note that we include the recommended heights for the different bike types. If your child is bigger than 150-160 cm, you need to book an adult bike for them. Similarly, if you are shorter than 150 cm as an adult, you should book a child bike (24'').

All rentals are day rentals, meaning that the bikes need to be returned by 18.00 of the last booking day. Alternatively, the bikes can also be returned on the following morning between 08.30 and 09.00.

Please note that we have two locations that you can rent your bikes from. Bike rentals starting in the morning should always be picked up in Åboulevard 3.

HOW DO WE RETURN BIKES AFTER OPENING HOURS?

If you return our bikes after opening hours (09.00-14.30), then park the bikes in front of our store, put the keys into the pouch we gave you, and throw the keys into the letter box. Baskets and helmets need to be chained to the bikes. Please do not return bikes after 18.00. Instead come back the next morning between 08.30 and 09.00.

CAN I HAVE MY BIKE DELIVERED TO AND PICKED UP FROM A DIFFERENT LOCATION THAN THE SHOP?

Yes, we offer bike delivery and pick up within Copenhagen. Per way we charge 1500 kr. for up to 15 bikes. Please let us know in due time so we can organise the transport.

CAN I EXTEND MY RENTAL SPONTANEOUSLY?

Yes. Please give us a call so we can check availability for the next day(s).

ARE RENTED BIKES INSURED AGAINST THEFT?

No, when you rent a bike you are liable for theft and if you lose a bike, you have to pay for it. All bikes come with a double-lock, and if you take good care of locking it, the risk for theft is very small. Most travel insurances cover theft, so we recommend checking out whether your travel insurance would cover in case of theft.

WHEN AND WHERE DO I HAVE TO RETURN THE BIKES?

All bikes must be returned either by 18.00 on the last day of the rental period, or on the following morning between 08.30 and 09.00. For bikes that are returned later, we will charge you an extra day. Bikes need to be returned to the same place that you picked them up.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF FLAT TIRE OR OTHER DAMAGES?

During the time of the rental, you are fully responsible for any damages to the bike and you agree to pay for any damages. If you would like to be insured against flat tires, you can get our Flat Tire Insurance. Please read our ‘Terms and Conditions’ for a full overview.

In case the bike breaks and you cannot continue your trip, give us a call, or return with the bike to the store to get a new one. Don’t panic. We will always find a solution.

Do you need space for your children or your dog? With our cargo bikes you cruise the city while your passengers sit comfortably. Besides the driver, fits two children, or a small child and an adult.
